Before we met I wondered, "Is she a paper-planner person? Will she even appreciate the goodness Filofax has to offer her?" To my delight, she LOVED the welcome gift and ooohed and aaahed over it like the best of us Philofaxy fans. Yay!
Her name was Cara and she was an awesome student teacher! I was blessed to have someone truly suited for education and whose personality clicked so easily with mine. I also bought her one more gift as a thank you for working so diligently throughout her assignment: an Erin Condren Teacher Planner. Yes, I really am that generous. I used a coupon, people, and she picked the pink and green plaid design.
Her last day was on December 1 (boo!) and she surprised ME with a thank you gift! I was shocked and psyched to open this sweet assortment of goodies:

She taught the novel The Good Earth by Pearl Buck, God bless her (Cara, not Pearl). |
The goods, again. |
Easily my favorite goody in the box! |
I love this! Such cute and thoughtful gifts. Plus, is that a Bobble I spy in the background of one of the pics???
ReplyDeleteThat's fabulous! And I love the mug... I'm going to see if I can find it for my son... English used to be the bane of his existence and he once thought his english teachers were the anti-christ -- I kid you not. Now that kid is an english major. Life comes full circle it appears!

ReplyDelete@J Why, yes, that IS a big Bobble there. Thanks,SE (Super Enabler). ;)
ReplyDelete@CSM Cafe Press, she said! My dh hated his English teachers, and the fool went ahead and married me. Ha! Thanks for reading!
@B--Best wishes to you in your student teaching assignment! If I can help with lesson ideas just let me know.
