I can think back on shows that have dominated my media usage choices, and these are:
1. ER
2. Intervention
3. Hoarders
Shows I have NEVER watched, and that others express amazement at our ignorance, include:
1. Dexter
2. 24 Hours
3. Survivor (any and all incarnations)
4. Dancing with the Stars
5. Jersey Shore
6. Desperate Housewives
7. Any "real housewife" show.
8. Any "bachelor" or "bachelorette" show.
9. The Amazing Race
10.Two and a Half Men
Thanks for reading!
No mention of 'The Wire' ??
ReplyDeleteI don't subscribe to HBO. Will have to look into that one online--a favorite of yours?
ReplyDeleteI used to love ER back in the day, with the original cast. Great show.
ReplyDeleteYou're a football fan? Dare I ask which is your team? (Without sounding like an idiot, of course, because I can probably guess.) ;)
Of the other shows you mentioned: The only one I watch is Two and a Half Men. It's a funny show, but as the seasons wear on, it's all pretty much the same. I have to say that I don't have much hope for the show now that Charlie Sheen is not a part of it. We're going to give it a try, but I don't give it more than 2 more seasons, and that might be pushing it.
I have heard Dexter and 24 are good, and we may end up watching them on DVD. I have no desire to see any of the rest of them you mentioned. I HATE reality shows, especially the ones where a dozen men pine after one woman, who by the way is "perfect" with her gleaming skin and taught body. While you might see a show starring a "normal" man and a bunch of women pining after him, you would never see a "normal" woman starring in the Bachelorette. And don't even get me started on Snookie! ;)
